In the last quarter of 2011 this small-sized exhibit house decided to ride in the fast lane of the information superhighway and expand their entire display network. Similar to the story of ‘The Little Engine That Could,’ big things began to happen. In a very short time, the expansion of Team One Display Services, Inc. has exploded!

The Cobb County Safety Village has helped to impact so many lives throughout Georgia and abroad with an innovative way of learning and teaching.  Education is advancing in the metropolitan Atlanta/Cobb County area in a great way!  Learning has increased by 200% amongst local students in the Cobb County area due to the practical, hands on training activities.  Safety Village makes it very clear with their philosophy, “Tell me, and I will forget.  Show me, and I may remember.  Involve me, and I will understand,” that education is important to our community.

SEMA – Las Vegas Convention Center

SEMA 2010 Pics! This year, we had two exhibits at SEMA, plus of course, the exhibits we set up at AAPEX at the Sands across town since the shows run at the same time. Busy couple of weeks! After a few remaining crates were pulled from our Las Vegas warehouse our team began work on setting up the octanorm structures that many of the booths are constructed from. Above is a quick tour of some of the pics from the Hella trade show booth.

AAPEX has come and gone this year. Working at the Sands Expo center, we installed two booths – a 20′ x 40′ exhibit booth for Hella, and a 20′ x 40′ booth for Blitz USA. One prominent feature this year was Hella’s new booth design, with an open and very inviting meeting room space and an exceptional radiator display, compete with hardwood accents, uplights, and aluminum stand offs. SGIA 2010

Las Vegas – SGIA 2010 in the Las Vegas Convention center turned out to be a great show. The exhibit floor was packed with vendors showing off the latest vinyl printers, flatbed printers, hybrids, media, and printing accessories. Our crew from Team One spent 10 days in Las Vegas setting up and tearing down the show. This year we had 6 booths, including a couple of two story exhibits, from a variety of clients: Arlon, Grimco, Mimaki, Mutoh, Seiko, and AquaTint Inks. Since two of the booths had second story meeting rooms Team One began setting booths up on the trade show floor during early move in – a few days before the rest of exhibitors.

Mutoh and Arlon went up first., followed by Grimco, Mimaki, Seiko, and AquaTint. Installation and tear down both went great. Since ISA 2011 is in Las Vegas in the spring, and many of our clients at SGIA this year will be showing at ISA, the majority of the exhibits remained at our Team One’s Las Vegas facilty for storage until the spring show.

Team One Display Services Has Moved!

It has been a busy few weeks here at Team One Display Services! Over the past two and a half weeks we have packed up our old shop and moved everything to our new location. So far the new space is great! Better layout, improved access for shipping and receiving, a larger graphics area, and improved storage and fabrication areas. The new shop is located at:

Customized Graphics

Rental booths can be completely outfitted with custom graphics. Once the show is over, Team One stores the client’s graphic panels in our inventory. With an online inventory system for clients to keep track of the graphics we have in house for their company, panels can be switched out and updated at any time, giving the client the flexibility to easily make changes to their display.

Modular Design Elements

Team One’s rental inventory consists of a wide variety of pre-built shapes. Wall panels, kiosks, curved walls, storage areas, graphic panels, and more all can be easily mixed and matched to suit the needs of a particular show.

Storage and Transportation

Is your company located on the East Coast but many trade shows are on the West Coast, or, vice versa? We’re Moving!

That’s right – beginning the first couple of weeks in August, the crew here at Team One will be loading up the shop and moving into our new location. We are pretty excited about the new space! Our existing building has served us well over the past few years and, while our current space is large enough, it just does not have the best floor plan for our needs. 

Located off 1-75 just north of Atlanta, the new space is only a few miles from our current location. Some of the benefits of the new location include 8 bay doors, a large staging area for building multiple exhibits at once, more space for the CNC table, and a large “clean” room for graphics which will house three workstations, our Mimaki printers and cutters, and a new addition to our capabilities – a 5X10 Mimaki flatbed printer (we’ll post more details on the flatbed printer in the weeks to come!). The new office area is equally as exciting as the warehouse area, with the benefit of having more space and a better layout.

We are still finalizing the floor plan, so I am sure there will be many changes before we begin setting up. Currently, the build out is in progress, but, as things progress, we will be adding more pictures and updates in the days ahead.

Team One Las Vegas Builds on Atlanta Success

   TEAM ONE ATLANTA recently opened an 11,000 square foot facility in Las Vegas. This new expansion now extends premier exhibit production and storage services to another of the nation’s premier trade show destinations.  “In addition to our deep service offerings, this full-service exhibit shop will provide customers with unprecedented access to warehouse storage and rental equipment from coast to coast.  Since transportation costs are placing such a major burden on exhibitors today, we created this knew base in the west to reduce costs and increase the value of our services,” says Bill Groff, TEAM ONE President and founder. 

   In the past, clients from the east coast have had their displays produced and then shipped out to Las Vegas’s exploding trade show Mecca. They now have the cost-effective option of accessing TEAM ONE’s west coast warehouse and rental facility to save on the shipping costs. The new office, which includes a full wood working shop, is conveniently located at 71 Spectrum Boulevard in North Las Vegas.
